RAIL LINKS
Chester Station is located in the city centre and is approximately 1.1miles and a 20 minute walk via Canal Side or alternatively you can easily obtain a taxi from the station at an approx fare of £7.00 - £10.00. Please ensure you use licensed providers. Chester also has access to Uber which maybe more cost effective.
AIRPORTS
Manchester Airport is the nearest airport which is approximately 40 mins - the rail links are very good and there are Taxi's available. A Taxi will cost approx £66.00 - £75.00
TRAVELLING TO CHESTER BY CAR
The chief Motorway links to Chester are through the M6, M56 and M53.
It is possible to hire a car at the airport and some of the larger towns in and around Cheshire (including Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield and Warrington).
Chester is located near the eastern end of the A55, which becomes the M53, that crosses the M56.
As Chester is directly linked via the M53 to the national motorway system, London and all of the major regions in the UK are easily accessible from the city.
By road London is approximately 180 miles, Cardiff 150 miles, Birmingham 90 miles, Manchester 40 miles, Liverpool 15 miles, Edinburgh 230 miles, Bath 165 miles and Southampton 220 miles.
