TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern every booking, purchase, attendance, participation, exhibition, sponsorship, speaking engagement and involvement in any event organised by Lost Soul Paracon (“Lost Soul Paracon”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between Lost Soul Paracon and every person who purchases a ticket, books an exhibitor space, acts as a speaker, volunteer, contractor, sponsor or otherwise attends one of our events.

By purchasing a ticket, paying a deposit, entering into a payment plan, exhibiting, speaking or attending any Lost Soul Paracon event you confirm that:

You have read these Terms in full;
You understand them;
You agree to be legally bound by them;
You accept that these Terms apply to every booking made with Lost Soul Paracon.

2. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Event” means any convention, paranormal investigation, lecture, workshop, gallery, demonstration, exhibition, festival, conference, meeting, gathering or activity organised by Lost Soul Paracon.

“Attendee” means every person entering an Event.

“Ticket Holder” means the individual named on the booking.

“Booking” means any purchase made through our website or authorised booking platform.

“Speaker” includes mediums, investigators, celebrities, lecturers, entertainers, hosts and guest presenters.

“Exhibitor” includes stallholders, therapists, readers, retailers, charities and commercial businesses.

“Venue” means any premises where our Event takes place.

3. OUR EVENTS

Lost Soul Paracon organises paranormal conventions, investigations, workshops and related events throughout the United Kingdom and internationally.

Every Event is unique.

Whilst every effort is made to provide the programme advertised, attendees acknowledge that paranormal events are live events and are subject to change.

Tickets are purchased for admission to the Event itself and not for any individual:

Speaker
Celebrity
Medium
Investigator
Workshop
Performance
Demonstration
Activity
Stallholder
Guest appearance

4. AGE RESTRICTIONS

Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted to attend unless accompanied throughout the Event by a responsible adult aged 18 years or over.

Certain investigations or activities may operate a higher minimum age requirement.

No psychic readings, healing sessions or therapies may be provided to persons under the age of 18 years.

Proof of age may be requested.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to refuse admission where satisfactory identification cannot be produced.

5. ACCESSIBILITY

Lost Soul Paracon is committed to making Events as accessible as reasonably practicable.

Where possible we choose venues with disabled access.

Accessibility requirements should be notified to us before booking wherever possible so that reasonable arrangements may be considered.

Whilst we will always endeavour to accommodate individual requirements, not every historic building or investigation venue is capable of full accessibility owing to listed status, uneven flooring, staircases or other structural limitations.

6. BOOKINGS

A booking is only confirmed once payment (or an agreed deposit) has been successfully received.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to decline any booking without providing a reason where considered appropriate.

Bookings are personal to the named purchaser.

Tickets remain the property of Lost Soul Paracon until paid for in full.

7. PRICES

All advertised prices are correct at the time of publication.

We reserve the right to amend prices before a booking has been completed.

Pricing errors may be corrected at any time.

VAT will be applied where legally required.

8. DEPOSITS & PAYMENT PLANS TERMS

Where a deposit option is available:

Deposits secure your place only.
Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Deposits are non-transferable unless agreed by Lost Soul Paracon in writing.
Failure to complete payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

9. PAYMENT PLANS

Lost Soul Paracon offers payment plans to make attendance more accessible. By selecting a payment plan, you agree to the following terms.

9.1. Payment Agreement

Your booking is confirmed only once your initial deposit has been received.

By entering into a payment plan, you agree to pay the full balance of your booking in accordance with the agreed payment schedule.

The payment plan is a legally binding agreement between you and Lost Soul Paracon.

9.2. Deposit

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless Lost Soul Paracon cancels the event.

The deposit secures your ticket(s) and removes them from sale.

9.3. Monthly Instalments

Instalments must be paid by the agreed due date each month.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure payments are made on time. Lost Soul Paracon is under no obligation to send payment reminders.

9.4. Missed Payments

If a payment is not received by the due date:

We may contact you to remind you that payment is overdue.
You will have up to 7 calendar days to bring your account up to date.
If payment is still not received, Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to cancel your booking without further notice.

9.5. Cancellation Due to Non-Payment

Should your booking be cancelled due to missed payments:

All monies already paid will be retained by Lost Soul Paracon.
Your ticket(s) may be resold immediately.
You remain liable for the full balance of the payment plan, and all remaining instalments must still be paid in full.
Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to legally pursue recovery of any outstanding balance.

9.6. Customer Cancellation

If you choose to cancel your booking after entering into a payment plan:

All payments already made will be forfeited.
You remain liable for the full balance of the payment plan, and all remaining instalments must still be paid in full.
Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to pursue recovery of any outstanding balance.

9.7. Payment Methods

Payments must be made using the payment method specified by Lost Soul Paracon.

Any bank charges, payment processing fees or failed payment fees incurred remain the responsibility of the customer.

9.8. No Refund Policy

Payment plans do not alter our Refund Policy.

All ticket purchases remain subject to Lost Soul Paracon’s general Terms & Conditions, including our no-refund policy.

9.9. Transfer of Tickets

Tickets purchased on a payment plan cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold until they have been paid for in full.

Any approved transfer remains entirely at the discretion of Lost Soul Paracon.

9.10. Event Cancellation

If Lost Soul Paracon cancels the event, customers will be entitled to either:

A full refund of all monies paid; or
An alternative option offered by Lost Soul Paracon.

Lost Soul Paracon will not be held liable or responsible for travel, accommodation, insurance or any other consequential costs unless required by law.

9.11. Changes to Payment Plans

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to amend payment schedules, deadlines or payment methods where necessary. Any changes will be communicated to affected customers.

9.12. Default

Failure to comply with these payment terms may result in:

Immediate cancellation of your booking.
Loss of all monies paid.
Refusal of future payment plan facilities.
Recovery of any outstanding sums through appropriate legal means where applicable.

9.13. Additional Terms

Lost Soul Paracon may introduce additional terms and conditions from time to time. Any such updates will apply to all active and future payment plans and will be communicated via official channels. Continued participation in a payment plan after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9.14. Acceptance

By paying your deposit, you confirm that:

You have read these Payment Plan Terms & Conditions.
You agree to make all payments on time.
You understand that missed payments may result in cancellation of your booking and loss of monies already paid.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to exercise discretion in exceptional circumstances. Any variation to these terms must be confirmed in writing by Lost Soul Paracon.

10. TICKET TRANSFERS

Tickets are non-transferable.

Requests for transfer must be submitted in writing.

Approval remains entirely at the discretion of Lost Soul Paracon.

Administration charges may apply.

Unauthorised resale of tickets is prohibited.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to cancel any ticket advertised for resale without permission.

11. NO REFUNDS

Except where required by law, all ticket sales are final.

Lost Soul Paracon does not provide refunds because:

an attendee can no longer attend;
travel arrangements change;
accommodation changes;
illness;
change of personal circumstances;
weather affecting travel;
dissatisfaction with paranormal activity;
changes to speakers or programme;
disagreement with opinions expressed by individual speakers;
removal or substitution of any advertised guest;
failure to obtain travel insurance.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel and event insurance.

12. CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

If you cancel your attendance for any reason:

No refund will be due.

No credit note will be issued.

No transfer will automatically be offered.

Transfers may occasionally be offered entirely at the discretion of Lost Soul Paracon but should never be assumed.

The organiser’s decision shall be final.

13. CHARGEBACKS

By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Should a customer initiate a payment dispute or chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter directly with Lost Soul Paracon, we reserve the right to submit evidence to the payment provider including, but not limited to:

acceptance of these Terms;
booking confirmations;
payment records;
event advertising;
correspondence;
attendance records;
programme information;
website content;
social media announcements.

Nothing in this clause restricts any legal rights a consumer may have.

EVENT MANAGEMENT, PROGRAMME CHANGES, CONDUCT AND SAFEGUARDING

14. EVENT PROGRAMMES

All event programmes, schedules, activities, workshops, investigations, demonstrations, presentations and advertised content are intended as guides only.

Whilst Lost Soul Paracon will use reasonable endeavours to deliver events substantially as advertised, all programmes remain subject to alteration, amendment, postponement or cancellation without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

Operational changes may be made before or during an Event where required for health and safety, legal compliance, safeguarding, security, venue requirements, operational efficiency or other legitimate business reasons.

Such amendments shall not constitute cancellation of the Event and shall not entitle any attendee to compensation, reimbursement or refund unless required by law.

15. SPEAKERS, GUESTS AND SPECIAL APPEARANCES

All advertised speakers, celebrity guests, paranormal investigators, mediums, presenters, performers, exhibitors and workshop leaders are subject to availability.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the absolute discretion to substitute, remove, replace or amend any advertised individual or presentation at any time before or during an Event.

Reasons for such changes may include, but are not limited to:

illness;
travel disruption;
contractual issues;
safeguarding concerns;
operational requirements;
legal advice;
reputational considerations;
security concerns;
professional conduct;
public statements or behaviour;
force majeure;
any circumstance where the organiser reasonably believes that continuing the participation of an individual would not be in the best interests of the Event, attendees, exhibitors, venue, staff or the Lost Soul Paracon brand.

Tickets are purchased for admission to the Event as a whole and not for any individual speaker, celebrity, investigator, medium or workshop.

Accordingly, changes to the advertised line-up shall not constitute cancellation of the Event and shall not give rise to any entitlement to a refund or compensation.

16. ORGANISER’S DISCRETION

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to make any reasonable decision concerning the planning, organisation, delivery, operation and management of an Event where considered necessary in the legitimate interests of:

attendee safety;
safeguarding;
legal compliance;
operational efficiency;
venue management;
contractual obligations;
public confidence;
business continuity;
reputation;
security;
the overall enjoyment of attendees.

The organiser’s decisions regarding Event management shall be final.

17. RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to refuse admission to any person without refund where the organiser reasonably believes admission would:

compromise safety;
breach these Terms;
create disruption;
threaten staff, volunteers or attendees;
prejudice the reputation of the Event;
conflict with safeguarding responsibilities;
interfere with the lawful operation of the Event.

Where appropriate, venue security or the police may be requested to assist.

18. REMOVAL FROM AN EVENT

Any attendee, exhibitor, speaker, volunteer, contractor or visitor may be removed immediately from an Event where their conduct is reasonably considered by Lost Soul Paracon to be:

abusive;
threatening;
intimidating;
violent;
discriminatory;
racist;
sexist;
homophobic;
transphobic;
xenophobic;
harassing;
defamatory;
deliberately disruptive;
unsafe;
criminal;
or otherwise likely to adversely affect the Event or those attending.

Removal may also occur where an individual:

refuses to follow reasonable instructions;
is excessively intoxicated;
is suspected of being under the influence of illegal drugs;
attempts to damage property;
places others at risk;
persistently interrupts presentations;
behaves aggressively towards staff or volunteers;
breaches venue rules;
acts in a manner incompatible with the values of Lost Soul Paracon.

Any decision to remove an individual shall be final.

No refund shall be payable.

19. SPEAKER, EXHIBITOR AND CONTRACTOR CONDUCT

Every speaker, exhibitor, contractor and volunteer represents both themselves and, whilst participating in an Event, the reputation of Lost Soul Paracon.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to suspend, terminate or withdraw any invitation or agreement where an individual’s conduct before, during or after an Event is reasonably considered likely to:

bring the Event into disrepute;
damage public confidence;
create safeguarding concerns;
expose the organiser to legal, financial or reputational risk;
conflict with the values or objectives of Lost Soul Paracon;
materially affect the enjoyment or safety of attendees.

This applies irrespective of whether such conduct occurs online, in person or through any other medium.

20. ONLINE CONDUCT

Lost Soul Paracon respects freedom of expression.

However, where public online behaviour, publications or communications are reasonably considered likely to adversely affect the Event, its attendees, venue, exhibitors, volunteers, staff, sponsors or commercial reputation, the organiser reserves the right to review that individual’s continued involvement.

Nothing within this clause prevents lawful expression of opinion.

Rather, it recognises that participation in Lost Soul Paracon Events is by invitation or contract and that the organiser retains discretion regarding those representing or participating in its Events.

21. SOCIAL MEDIA

Attendees remain responsible for anything they publish online.

Lost Soul Paracon accepts no liability for comments made by third parties on social media.

The organiser reserves the right to moderate, remove or report comments appearing on any official Lost Soul Paracon platform where they reasonably believe such comments are:

abusive;
defamatory;
threatening;
discriminatory;
unlawful;
misleading;
fraudulent;
spam;
or otherwise inconsistent with maintaining a respectful community.

22. SAFEGUARDING

Lost Soul Paracon is committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.

The organiser reserves the right to take any action reasonably considered necessary to protect:

children;
vulnerable adults;
staff;
volunteers;
exhibitors;
speakers;
members of the public.

Safeguarding concerns may be reported to venue management, emergency services, police or other statutory agencies where appropriate.

23. ALCOHOL AND DRUGS

Responsible alcohol consumption may be permitted where authorised by the Venue.

Any person who appears to be excessively intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs may be refused admission or removed without refund.

Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

Where criminal offences are suspected, the matter may be referred to the police.

24. SMOKING AND VAPING

Smoking and vaping are permitted only within designated areas.

No naked flames, candles, incense, fireworks or pyrotechnics may be used unless expressly authorised in writing by Lost Soul Paracon and the Venue.

25. SECURITY

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to implement any security measures considered reasonably necessary.

These may include:

bag inspections;
identity verification;
CCTV;
security personnel;
refusal of prohibited items.

Anyone refusing reasonable security measures may be refused entry without refund.

26. BANNING POLICY

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to refuse future bookings from any individual whose previous conduct has breached these Terms or whose behaviour is reasonably considered likely to adversely affect future Events.

Any ban may be temporary or permanent.

The organiser is under no obligation to provide reasons for such decisions beyond what is reasonably appropriate.

The organiser’s decision shall be final.

27. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By attending any Lost Soul Paracon Event, attendees acknowledge that paranormal investigations and events may take place in historic buildings, heritage sites or other venues that may contain uneven flooring, staircases, confined spaces, low ceilings, reduced lighting and other inherent hazards.

Attendance is entirely voluntary.

Attendees accept responsibility for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the activities they choose to undertake and agree to follow all reasonable instructions issued by Lost Soul Paracon staff, venue representatives and emergency personnel.

Where an attendee has a medical condition, disability or accessibility requirement that may affect their participation, they are encouraged to notify Lost Soul Paracon in advance so that reasonable arrangements may be considered where practicable.

28. HEALTH AND SAFETY

Lost Soul Paracon is committed to maintaining a safe environment for attendees, staff, volunteers, exhibitors and speakers.

Risk assessments are undertaken where reasonably appropriate, and reasonable health and safety measures are implemented in accordance with applicable legislation.

Attendees must:

comply with all venue rules and safety instructions;
obey emergency evacuation procedures;
report hazards or accidents immediately;
avoid entering restricted areas unless authorised;
behave in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others.

Failure to comply with health and safety requirements may result in removal from the Event without refund.

29. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES

Appropriately trained first aid personnel may be available at Events where reasonably practicable.

Attendees remain responsible for carrying any prescribed medication required during the Event.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to contact emergency services where an attendee appears to require urgent medical assistance.

Any costs associated with medical treatment, transport or healthcare remain the responsibility of the attendee unless otherwise provided by law.

30. PROPERTY

Attendees remain responsible for all personal belongings brought to an Event.

Lost Soul Paracon accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property unless such loss arises from our negligence or another liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.

Lost Soul Paracon accepts no responsibility for damage to vehicles, parking charges, towing or clamping imposed by third parties.

31. DAMAGE TO VENUES

Any person who deliberately or negligently causes damage to a venue, equipment or property may be held responsible for the reasonable costs of repair or replacement.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to recover such costs through appropriate legal means where necessary.

32. PARANORMAL EXPERIENCES

Lost Soul Paracon provides entertainment, educational and experiential paranormal Events.

The organiser does not guarantee:

paranormal activity;
spirit communication;
psychic experiences;
investigative results;
evidential outcomes;
personal experiences.

Any experiences reported by attendees, speakers, investigators or mediums represent their own personal perceptions or opinions.

Lost Soul Paracon makes no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, authenticity or objective truth of paranormal claims.

Participation in paranormal activities is entirely at the attendee’s own discretion.

33. PSYCHIC MEDIUMS, INVESTIGATORS AND GUEST SPEAKERS

Views, opinions, interpretations and information provided by speakers, investigators, mediums, exhibitors or workshop leaders are their own.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such statements do not represent the views, opinions or policies of Lost Soul Paracon.

Attendees remain responsible for making their own decisions regarding any advice, guidance or information received.

Nothing presented at an Event should be regarded as legal, medical, psychological, financial or other professional advice.

34. PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING AND RECORDING

Official photography, video recording and audio recording may take place throughout our Events for promotional, marketing, archival and editorial purposes.

By attending an Event, attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in such material.

Where an attendee does not wish to be featured in close-up promotional imagery, they should notify Lost Soul Paracon in writing before the Event or identify themselves to a member of staff upon arrival. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate such requests, this cannot be guaranteed in relation to crowd footage or incidental appearances.

Professional photography, commercial filming, livestreaming or media recording by attendees is prohibited unless prior written permission has been obtained from Lost Soul Paracon.

35. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Event branding, logos, promotional material, programmes, artwork, graphics, photographs, videos, recordings, publications, written materials and digital content remain the intellectual property of Lost Soul Paracon or the relevant rights holder.

No part of our Events may be reproduced, copied, broadcast, distributed, published or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

Unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

36. DATA PROTECTION

Lost Soul Paracon processes personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Personal information may be collected for purposes including:

managing bookings;
communicating about Events;
processing payments;
customer support;
legal compliance;
safety and safeguarding;
fraud prevention.

Personal data will not be sold to third parties.

37. INSURANCE

Lost Soul Paracon maintains appropriate insurance policies where required by law or considered appropriate for the operation of its Events.

Attendees are responsible for arranging any personal travel, cancellation, medical or property insurance they consider appropriate.

Exhibitors, therapists, readers, stallholders and contractors are responsible for maintaining any insurance required for their activities.

Evidence of insurance may be requested at any time.

38. FORCE MAJEURE

Lost Soul Paracon shall not be liable for any delay, postponement, alteration or cancellation arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

severe weather;
flood;
fire;
epidemic or pandemic;
government restrictions;
venue closure;
terrorism;
civil unrest;
industrial action;
utility failures;
transport disruption;
illness of key personnel;
supplier failure;
acts of God;
security incidents;
or any other event beyond the organiser’s reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, Lost Soul Paracon may postpone the Event or offer an alternative arrangement.

39. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Subject to the above, Lost Soul Paracon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from attendance at an Event, including loss of enjoyment, loss of earnings, travel expenses, accommodation costs or other consequential losses, except where required by law.

40. COMPLAINTS

Any concerns or complaints should be brought to the attention of Lost Soul Paracon as soon as reasonably practicable so that they may be investigated.

Where a complaint cannot be resolved during the Event, it should be submitted in writing within 14 days of the Event.

Lost Soul Paracon will acknowledge and review complaints within a reasonable period and respond as appropriate.

The submission of a complaint does not automatically give rise to any entitlement to compensation or refund.

41. EXHIBITORS

Acceptance of an exhibitor booking is entirely at the discretion of Lost Soul Paracon.

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance until payment has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

The organiser reserves the right to refuse or withdraw an exhibitor booking where it reasonably believes that the exhibitor, their products, services or conduct are unsuitable for the Event.

Exhibitors must ensure that all products and services offered comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

The organiser reserves the right to require the removal of any product, display, literature or service that is considered unlawful, unsafe, offensive, misleading, inappropriate or inconsistent with the objectives of the Event.

42. EXHIBITOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Exhibitors are responsible for:

maintaining adequate Public Liability Insurance where appropriate;
ensuring all electrical equipment is safe and, where required, appropriately tested;
complying with venue health and safety requirements;
supervising their own property and stock;
ensuring pricing information is clearly displayed where applicable;
complying with consumer protection legislation.

Exhibitors remain responsible for any loss, theft or damage to their own property.

43. SPEAKER AGREEMENTS

Invitations to speak at Lost Soul Paracon are personal and may not be transferred.

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to amend presentation times, session lengths, topics, room allocations and schedules where reasonably necessary.

The organiser may withdraw an invitation or terminate a speaker agreement where the speaker’s conduct is reasonably considered likely to:

damage the reputation of the Event;
compromise safeguarding;
expose the organiser to legal or reputational risk;
breach contractual obligations;
create significant disruption;
conflict with these Terms.

Such decisions shall be made in good faith and at the organiser’s reasonable discretion.

44. SPONSORSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS

The organiser reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate sponsorships, partnerships or commercial collaborations where continuing the relationship is reasonably considered contrary to the interests of the Event or its attendees.

No sponsorship guarantees editorial control, speaker selection or operational decision-making unless expressly agreed in writing.

45. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT BY LOST SOUL PARACON

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to postpone, relocate, reschedule or cancel an Event where reasonably necessary for operational, legal, commercial, safety or other legitimate business reasons.

Where an Event is cancelled and cannot reasonably be rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a refund of the ticket price paid unless otherwise agreed.

Lost Soul Paracon shall not be responsible for consequential losses, including travel, accommodation, subsistence, parking or other associated costs, except where required by law.

Where an Event is postponed, tickets will normally remain valid for the revised date unless otherwise stated.

46. VENUE CHANGES

The organiser reserves the right to change the Event venue where reasonably necessary.

A change of venue within the same geographical area, or to another suitable venue, shall not constitute cancellation of the Event.

47. COMMUNICATIONS

Notices relating to Events may be communicated by:

email;
telephone;
SMS;
WhatsApp;
official social media accounts;
the Lost Soul Paracon website;
the booking platform used for the purchase.

It is the responsibility of attendees to ensure that their contact details remain accurate.

48. NO WAIVER

Failure by Lost Soul Paracon to enforce any provision of these Terms on one occasion shall not prevent enforcement on any subsequent occasion.

Any waiver must be made expressly in writing.

49. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

The invalid provision shall be interpreted, where possible, so as to achieve its intended purpose within the limits of applicable law.

50. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with any booking confirmation, Privacy Policy and any additional written terms expressly incorporated into the booking, constitute the entire agreement between Lost Soul Paracon and the attendee, exhibitor, speaker or other participant.

No verbal statement or representation shall vary these Terms unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of Lost Soul Paracon.

51. AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS

Lost Soul Paracon reserves the right to amend these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect:

changes in legislation;
regulatory requirements;
health and safety guidance;
venue requirements;
operational practices;
technological developments;
business needs.

The version published on the Lost Soul Paracon website at the time of the Event shall apply.

Where any amendment materially affects an existing booking, reasonable notice will be provided where practicable.

52. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Should a dispute arise, both parties are encouraged to seek an amicable resolution before commencing formal legal proceedings.

Nothing within these Terms restricts either party from exercising any legal rights available under applicable law.

53. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising from or connected with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

54. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By purchasing a ticket, paying a deposit, entering into a payment plan, booking an exhibitor space, accepting a speaker invitation or attending any Lost Soul Paracon Event, you confirm that:

you have read these Terms and Conditions in full;
you understand them;
you agree to be legally bound by them;
you acknowledge that these Terms apply to your booking and attendance.

Failure to read these Terms shall not affect their applicability.
